ALA SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

ALA in Wash DC 2010

Greetings from Washington DC, where the American Library Association held this year’s Annual Conference and Exhibition. e-Image Data was pleased, as always, to meet some new people and to re-connect with some existing customers, who stopped by the booth to let us know how happy they were with their ScanPro 2000 units.

Anne Hall at ALA

“This is a great product with great features. Very easy to use.” –Anne Hall, Fairfield City Council, Cabramatta, Australia

Linda Hopkins from Camp Lejeune Base Library told us, “It’s so easy to use; people just sit down and start working!” That’s exactly what we had in mind when we designed the ScanPro 2000, so we’re thrilled to hear that library users find them as intuitive as the librarians do. Ron Critchfield , Director of the Jessamine County Public Library in Kentucky, heartily agreed. “It’s wonderful equipment, leaps and bounds ahead of anything else,” he said.

People were most enthusiastic about the ScanPro 2000’s new Word-Search feature, which allows users to search for a keyword within the document. “We are really excited about your new word search product,” said Gloria Colvin, of Flordia State University’s Strozier Library. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth. Until we see you at the next show, please check out this wonderful review the ScanPro 2000 received in Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter. Many of you were kind enough to post positive feedback on the site, so we thank you for that, too!
