October 6, 2021 – Imaging Australia & NZ (IANZ) and ScanPro®, add new technology to the Royal Women’s Hospital (RWH) records department, allowing easier access for researchers and the public of medical records contained on aging microfilm and microfiche records.

RWH are delighted to have the technology of the ScanPro 2200 which will increase the quality of images that we are able to get to researchers and the public. It will also increase the speed at which the Hospital Medical records staff are able to turn around information.

Mark Petts from IANZ said “the ScanPro technology allows both on-demand scanning of microform as well as automatic production scanning of collections. This will be a massive leap forward for the Hospital Microform Collection.
