Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2024
Introduction
Welcome to e-ImageData ("we", "our", "us"). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you visit our website (www.e-imagedata.com) (the "Site"), use our online store (the "Store") and utilize our ScanPro® application ("ScanPro®App").
1. Information We Collect
We collect various types of information in connection with the services we provide, including:
- Personal Information: This includes any information that can be used to identify you personally, such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, payment information, and any other information you provide us when you create an account, make a purchase, or contact us.
- Non-Personal Information: This includes information that cannot be used to identify you personally, such as browsing behavior, search queries, and interactions with advertisements.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites following your use of our Site and Store.
- ScanPro® App User Information:
- Users Scanned Images: We are aware of the potentially private and confidential content in your scanned images. Our ScanPro software will only store your scanned image files to locations that you have designated in the “Setup”.
- “Scan To Google Drive”: Our ScanPro software, when running on a PC connected to the internet, has the ability to transfer scans (image files) to your Google Drive. Our software uses the Google Drive API to perform the file transfer. We rely on Google Drive's least privileged API role, which provides us with limited access to your Google Drive. With this method, we do not have access to your Google credentials or data originating from outside the ScanPro application. Our ScanPro software transfers only image files (that you scanned) to your Google Drive folder (upload only). This connection to your Google Drive is temporary and will disconnect upon exiting the ScanPro software. You can also manually disconnect from your Google Drive account by exiting the “Scan to Google Drive” feature. Should our policy change with regard to these image storing features, our software update will notify you that changes have been made and direct you to the updated privacy policy.

3. How We Share Your Information

- With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, shipping, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, and customer service.
